ORGANICS WEBINAR

The California Organics Recycling Council (CORC), a Technical Council of CRRA, is hosting a meeting of the entire CORC membership on Friday, May 12 at 11 am. The meeting will take place via Zoom. We have included the link below and will also send a calendar invitation.

The Meeting will feature a presentation by the City of Albany, the City of Pleasanton, and Placeworks, a service provider who helps assess use options for compost and mulch procurement. Pleasanton will present its three-year plan for compost application. Albany is working on a procurement planning tool.  Albany is also working with Gill Tract farm to develop a compost distribution hub and will explain how these hubs can be used to streamline residential giveaways.
