2024: Shifting the Conversation
August 18th-21st 2024 • Anaheim, CA
Shifting the Conversation in Anaheim was a huge success with over 800 attendees in person and over 100 virtually! This, our 48th Annual Conference & Trade Show was also a celebration of 50 years of CRRA!
Highlights include keynotes from Paul Hawken and brothers Vince & Bill Taormina. We opened the conference Monday morning with a land acknowledgement led by Sandonne Goad, Chairwoman of the Gabrielino-Tongva Indian Tribe as well as a warm welcome from Anaheim Mayor Ashleigh Aitken. On Tuesday, we heard updates from CalRecycle’s director Zoe Heller and dug into SB 54 with Doug Kobold, Shane Buckinham, Rob Hilton and Veronica Pardo. Wrapping up the conference on Wednesday EPA Region 9 presented on their work in Guam, the Commonwealth of the Mariana Islands, American Samoa, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Last but very much not least, we pulled back the curtain on the Disneyland Resort with Michael Palazzola, the Senior Manager of Regulated Waste and Field Operations for the resort.
We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to our 2024 host sponsors:
