What is the Local Agency Technical Council?
The Local Agency Technical Council was created in December 1994 as a technical council of the CRRA. This council addresses concerns of cities, counties, sanitation districts and other local agencies.
What is a Technical Council?
CRRA has eleven Technical Councils that CRRA supports organizationally and financially. Technical Councils are groups of members that concentrate on a particular topic or interest providing technical assistance, policy commentary, networking opportunities, and other services to CRRA and its members. CRRA members can join any three free of charge.
What does the LATC do?
The collaboration of members within this Technical Council assists with answering questions, networking and being the leader in the industry by working with other local agencies. The LATC meets once a month for an hour by conference call to discuss issues and plan workshops for CRRA members. Workshops that have been planned in the past by LATC include:
- Introduction to Recycling (CRRA Conference)
- Speed Dating (CRRA Conference)
- Regional Workshops
