Job Purpose:
Must be proficient at operating and the training of equipment used in the recycling / waste management area.
Minimum Employment Requirements:
21+ years of age, proof of eligibility to work in the United States, High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent work experience to include 3+years in a managerial capacity in materials management, logistics and/or high volume production environment; ability to effectively communicate English both in verbal and written form; thorough knowledge of managerial and supervisory principles and practices; excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts internal as well as external; adhering to Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino standards and able to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays. Must possess a valid drivers license and be able to obtain a forklift operators certificate. Must be proficient at operating and the training of equipment used in the recycling / waste management area.
Specific Job Requirements:
Minimum of two years experience and competence in staff scheduling in a 24 hour operation. Proficient working knowledge of PC computer software (MS Word, Excel, PP and Outlook) and a good understanding of accounting practices. Experienced in management analysis, able to develop, read and evaluate reports and generate correspondence and statistical data. Experienced in budget development, cost analysis, commodity price tracking with good negotiation skills.
