CRRA 2007 Board of Directors Election Schedule
At the most recent Board of Directors meeting, the following Board election schedule was approved for 2007.
Monday, March 19: Quarterly Members meeting to open board election nominations period
Friday, April 27: Nominations period closes
Monday, May 16 :-Open Elections
Friday, June 8: Close Elections
Friday, June 15 : Notify Candidates of Election Results
July 29 – Aug. 1:Seat new board members at Annual Members Meeting in San Pedro
2007 Conference Call for Speakers

CRRA will have its 31st Annual conference in San Pedro , California on July 28- August 1, 2007 and is organizing the most comprehensive, informative, and thought-provoking conference dedicated to waste reduction and resource management issues in California .

CRRA will bring cutting edge ideas and real experiences and lessons to all who attend the conference. CRRA is currently seeking qualified speakers, panelists, and roundtable leaders for a variety of topics. You are invited to fill out an on-line speaker form via the web link below. TC Corner
Currently CRRA has 10 Technical Councils (TCs) with a new TC for K-12 Education currently being formed. The TCs have been created to promote and foster communication, networking and information sharing in various fields related to resource management, recycling, waste reduction and reuse. California Refund Value Program Celebrates 20 Years of Recycling

Beginning, January 1, 2007, the amount of California Refund Value (CRV) consumers receive at recycling centers increases to a nickel for containers less than 24 ounces and a dime for containers 24 ounces and larger. For at least six months, the amount of CRV consumers pay at the store will remain four cents on smaller containers and eight cents on larger ones. Read More
