Congratulations to the winners, Sonia Lara, Alexis Petru and Teri Fazzio. Each one of these winners will receive one complimentary conference registration to the CRRA Annual Conference being held August 6 – 9, 2006 at the San Jose Fairmont.

Board and TC Elections Underway
Voting is now open for the CRRA Annual Board of Director elections and also for the Global Recycling Council and the Local Agency Technical Council. All CRRA members should have received ballots via email. Members without valid emails will receive a ballot by mail. All nine Board seats are open for election due to the recent Bylaw amendment creating three super districts throughout the state. In the Southern District, 5 candidates are running for three seats: Richard Anthony, Susan Collins, Todd Hill, Leslie Lukacs and Barbara Spoonhour. In the Central
District, two candidates are running for three seats: Bob Hollis and Julie Muir, and in the Northern District no candidate statements were received, so a special election will be held following this election to fill the three vacancies in the Northern District and the single vacancy in the Central district. If you didn’t receive a ballot, or have trouble submitting your ballot, please call Kym Dreher at the CRRA office, at 916-441-2772.
