Spring Report

As I look forward to the July 10-13, 2005 California Resource Recovery Association Annual conference at the downtown Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel (www.crra.com), I think about some of the things I have learned while attending Recycling and Zero Waste conferences this spring in Beijing, China; New York City; Coventry, England; Waterville, Vermont; and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Tribute to Pavitra, Mary and Michele
In New York City , Los Angeles , and Beijing , China , the topics of the day are zero waste, zero waste communities, jobs and sustainability and resource management without landfill and burning.
The passing away this year of Pavitra, Mary and Michele remind me of my mortality and makes me more determined to do a much as I can, while I can. For full text click here |
